Best 'Live' Album of 2005 - Bullet in a Bible

Album Review
I've got this fetish for 'live' recordings and I dunno why. Maybe 'cos it sounds better, more originally raw. I mean that's where you'll see the band's true talent, on stage, 'live'. Green Day's Bullet in a Bible is one fucking good example of good 'live' CD.

Therefore this CD/DVD album combo I bought today has all the elements for it to be one of the best 'live' album of the year. Albeit their hit songs in their 'American Idiot' LP and old hits like 'Brainstew', 'Basket Case' etc, this truly is a manifesto for all Green Day fans.

This awesome material was recorded in June 2005 before 65,000 lunatic fans in England, the tracklisting on the audio disc is predictably divided between the big power ballads from the trio's most recent album, "AI". But I'm kinda disappointed they didn't play 'Oh Novacaine'! A candidate for their new single, I hope....

Here's the full tracklisting:

American Idiot
Jesus of Suburbia
Holiday
Are We The Waiting
St. Jimmy
Longview
Hitchin' A Ride
Brain Stew
Jaded
Knowledge
Basket Case
She
King For A Day/Shout
Wake Me Up When Sept. Ends
Minority
Maria
Boulevard of Broken Dreams
We Are the Champions
Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)

Must buy! $20.95 @ HMV or you're just a boring arse-hole! Haha...
